Luke Abdy is an experienced coach and former state-level athlete who is passionate about helping young netballers build confidence, develop their skills, and reach their full potential.
Having competed and coached within representative pathways, Luke understands the demands of high-level netball and the importance of creating environments where athletes can learn, challenge themselves, and enjoy the game.
His coaching style combines high expectations with genuine encouragement, ensuring every athlete feels supported while striving to improve. Luke has extensive experience coaching athletes across a range of ages and abilities, from developing junior players through to representative athletes preparing for higher-level competition.
He has built a reputation for delivering engaging, well-structured training sessions that focus on both technical excellence and game understanding.
As an NQNA Regional Coach, Luke plays an integral role in delivering the Academy's athlete development programs across North Queensland, particularly supporting the growth of netball in regional and remote communities. He is passionate about ensuring athletes, regardless of where they live, have access to quality coaching and meaningful development opportunities.
